See below to learn how you can make this facial scrub at home, along with some of its health benefits.

  • 1 tablespoon of espresso grinds (you can also use regular coffee)
  • 1 teaspoon of baking soda (please skip if you have sensitive skin)
  • 1 teaspoon of honey
  • 1 tablespoon of olive Oil

1. In a small bowl, combine all the ingredients and mix them well until it turns into an evenly distributed paste.

Health Benefits

Coffee grinds don’t dissolve with water, so this makes for such an excellent exfoliant that will lift away any dead skin cells. The coffee will help leave your skin softer, smoother, and glowing! Just like drinking coffee, including coffee in your face mask, will also make you feel more energized! Many concealers and eye products include coffee in their ingredients for this very reason!

Honey is loaded with antioxidants and enzymes which will nourish, moisturize, and clarify your skin. Honey also makes for a great exfoliant and will help unclog your pores revealing the new skin cells underneath.

Baking Soda

Baking soda also makes for a great exfoliant and will help shrink the size of your pores. It has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties that help reduce the recurrence of pimples and acne.

Olive Oil

Olive oil contains antioxidants and vitamins such as vitamins A, D, E, and K. Vitamin E is often used to treat skin conditions like psoriasis and eczema. Vitamin K helps soften and hydrate your skin.
